Living in Nature: TreeHotel

The Treehotel in Harads Forest of North Sweden uses modern design to allow hotel goers to harmoniously in nature.

Outfitted in modern Scandinavin decor, five of the 24 rooms are suspended six meters high in trees overlooking the Lule River. 

All with very distinct looks, the rooms are meticulously designed by an array of Swedish architects to preserve the trees. From the construction techniques, to the insulation, lighting, plumbing, and even eco-friendly cleaning, the hotel has maintained a strict policy to have a reduced impact on the environment. 

 Booking is available year round, and rooms start at ~550 USD/night.
